Modern Day Victorian Wedding

Editorial, modern, fresh – all words that describe this inspiration shoot. A new venue names Tendue opened up in Portland, Oregon, and when I saw the simplicity of the white walls detailed with trim, I knew it was an opportunity to do something different and new. I pulled together an A-list of wedding vendors in the Portland area and styled what I can only describe as a modern day victorian style.
Selva Floral created some unique, new-age florals in muted pastel tones and accented with lavender spray paint. She foraged the flowers and botanicals and created something truly unique and beautiful. My model, Kim, wore a stunning bridal jumpsuit from Lena Medoyeff Bridal, which was the perfect modern look for our bride. We also photographed a velvet gown from her new collection as well for the more traditional bride. Kelsey Malie Calligraphy created a custom suite with a mix of lavender and cream cotton papers and lavender ink. My favorite part was introducing some charcuterie boards by Lena Gladstone of Lena's Kitchen. Her styling is amazing, and I had to have her be part of the shoot. I think it added another dimension to the shoot. A big thank you to my model Kim Brooks for absolutely killing it on this shoot.
